“I look forward, during our summer racing break, to have relaxed time with our teams, drivers, and riders to talk about our rules and procedures regarding safety, and to get feedback from them,” said Roger Norman.  “Plus bringing in racing industry safety experts gives us another perspective on what we can do to better protect everyone involved in our sport.”

Topics covered by the speakers this year included heat stress, concussions, fire protection, and emergency medical service.

Holding the get-together at the beach house provided a comfortable setting, away from the mid-summer, desert heat.
